The 2015 Football BC Provincial Conference provided plenty of highlights and training opportunities for the coaching community in BC.

Football BC Technical Director Dino Geremia provides his wrap-up on the sixth annual event below:

The 2015 Football BC Provincial Conference and Safe Contact clinic treated coaches to outstanding speakres who shared their knowledge and football insight.

New UBC head coach Blake Nill kicked off the Conference on Friday evening with a passionate presentation on practicing at a high level and getting the most out of your practice.

The BC Lions were once again a big part of the weekend with coaches Johnny Holland and Chuck McMann breaking down the fundamentals for linebackers and running backs, respectively.

In keeping the "Football for Life" theme that we emphasize at all our events, we were pleased to have Zeke Sandhu as our featured speaker for the event.

All our Conference attendees were impressed with the well-spoken, local product who rose to become a prominent NFL Player Agent. Zeke's message was an inspirational one for players and coaches as he made the point that while playing is great, there are other professions that enable you to stay in the game and fuel your passion for football.

By the end of the Conference, we are proud to say more coaches have now been trained in Safe Contact and at the Competition Introduction level with NCCP.

We would like to once again thank all our presenting sponsors who continue to make this weekend a highlight on the football calendar.
