The 2013 Football BC Provincial Conference will be held this Saturday and Sunday at Notre Dame Regional Secondary School in Vancouver.

The cost for an individual registrant is $90. For a staff of up to five
coaches, the cost is $360.

In accordance with Coaching Canada, Football Canada and the National Coaching Certification
Program, Football BC is requiring the following minimum standard for all coaches in British Columbia respectively related to the

1. Online course through Football Canada
2. In-clinic session offered by Football BC
3. Online "Making Ethical Decisions" for Community Sport through Coaching Canada
Old Level 1 plus "Making Ethical Decisions" for Community Sport through Coaching Canada
Competition Introduction - Position Coach
1. Multi-sport sessions offered through Football BC
2. Position Clinic offered through Football BC
3. "Making Ethical Decisions" for Competition Introduction through Coaching Canada
4. Post-workshop evaluation online through Football Canada
5. On-field evaluation offered through Football BC
Old Level 2, 3 or 4 plus "Making Ethical
Decisions" for Competition Introduction and Safe Contact Session.

Registration now open for Team BC May camp
Registration is now open for the Team BC Victoria Day Long Weekend Camp (May 18-20) in Richmond for all players who have been invited to take part in both the U-16 and U-18 categories.
Register by the early bird deadline of May 6 and save on the registration fee. Early bird fee is $375. The fee if you register after May 6 is $425.

Players will require full gear for the camp. Players will be asked to check in at 11 am at the lobby of the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel on the opening day of camp

The tryout camp will serve as part of the process to select an under-16 provincial tackle team to compete at the Red River Cup in
Winnipeg, Manitoba from July 6 - 14, as well as select an under-18 provincial tackle team to compete at the FBU International Games in San
Antonio, Texas in January 2014.

Annual Star Bowl game takes place on April 20 in Abbotsford
The annual VMFL/VCFL Star Bowl All-Star game will be taking place on April 20 at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford.

JP Football Frenzy Camp - April 20
The JP Football Frenzy Camp, hosted by Hyacks Football, will be held on
Saturday, April 20 at Mercer Stadium from 10 am to 3 pm.
The camp is open to all kids ages 6 - 13.

Spring Frenzy Football Camp
- April 27-28
The Spring Frenzy Football camp takes place April 27-28 at John Barsby Secondary School in Nanaimo and is open to all players in grades 8 - 12. The camp will be split into junior varsity and varsity.
The camp runs from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm with pre-registration starting at 9 am.

Comox Valley Raiders Camp - May 11-12
The Comox Valley Raiders Camp will be taking place at Lewis Park in Courtenay on May 11 and 12.
The cost for the camp is $100. Payment can be made either through the Lewis Centre (250-338-5371) in Courtenay or via cheque at check-in.
The camp is full-gear and players are asked to bring their own equipment.

The program for this age group is aimed at improving physical strength while preparing

Lawyer Milloy & Golden Tate Football Camp
The Lawyer Milloy and Golden Tate Football Camp will be taking place from July
14-17, 2013 at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
Campers learn from outstanding veteran college and high school coaches and the staff is complimented with Lawyer Milloy and Golden Tate and current and/or former members of the Seattle Seahawks.
Campers are grouped by age, position, ability and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group. Campers are taught at an approximately 10:1 ratio.
