Team BC is set to announce the names of players who will be invited to the upcoming May Long Weekend camp.

Camp dates: July 13 to 20 (Seven nights, eight days)
Former NFL and CFL players including: Lonnie Mitchell (WR -
Minnesota Vikings), Akili Smith (QB - Green Bay Packers,
Calgary Stampeders), Evan Arapostathis (K/P - St. Louis Rams)
and Kale Ane (C - Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers).

2. Once your registration has been reviewed by a Football BC
staff member, you will be contacted by email to make your $1,000
USD deposit. Your registration is only considered completed
once you have made your deposit.
What the experience is:
This week-long football experience offers players with a
chance to receive football instruction from top coaches in the
NCAA and NFL, participate in a game against a team comprised
of San Diego Division III and younger athletes, tour the San
Diego Chargers facility and the San Diego State University

Another amazing Provincial Conference is in the books
Football BC's fifth annual Provincial Conference is now in the books. Over 100 coaches attended the two-day event which featured keynote speaker Anthony Calvillo, future Canadian Football League Hall-of-Famer and former Montreal Alouettes quarterback.

The 11th annual Orange Helmet Awards dinner took place this past Friday and featured an uplifting and inspiring keynote address by Anthony Calvillo.
Football BC would like to thank all those who attended the event in support of raising funds for amateur football in British Columbia, as well as to the staff of the BC Lions for putting together a wonderful evening for all.
We are already looking forward to the 12th annual Orange Helmet Awards next year!
Tough" Football Camp
The "BC Tough" Football camp brings players together with the top provincial coaches as well as players from the BC Lions and CFL.
The camp is for 10 to 18 year olds and costs $95 (t-shirt and lunch included).

The Vancouver Mainland Football League (VMFL) and Valley Community Football
League's (VCFL) annual showcase of the best of BC gridiron talent, at the bantam and midget levels, will be on display this Saturday in Langley.
Being introduced for the first time this year is a 9-man Bantam Starbowl game that will feature hard-hitting action from the best players in this very competitive division.
This will be followed by a 12-man bantam game that will feature two integrated VMFL and VCFL teams for the first time, reflecting the integrated regular season played between the leagues at this level.
The now-traditional tilt between integrated VMFL and VCFL midget teams will bring the day of football to a close.

Cloverdale Football 22nd annual football clinic
Westshore Rebels Spring Camp (April 25-27)
The Westshore Rebels will be holding their open Spring Camp April 25-27 at Belmont Sr. Secondary School (3067 Jacklin Road in Langford) for returning players, 18 year old High school players and graduating midget league players.
Along with daily workouts, various speakers will be at the camp to talk with the players and get them ready for the 2014 season.

This skills camp takes place at John Barsby High School in Nanaimo on May 3 and will focus on developing the fundamentals at each area.

2014 Victoria All-Star Football Camp
The 2014 Victoria All-Star Camp will take place June 28-29 at Mt. Douglas Secondary School.
This Full Contact Football Camp will focus on Skill Development, Positional Play, Character and Team Building and is for all Positions.
The Staff will feature High Quality Coaching including former Professional and University playersâ€¦Coach Tim Kearse, Coach Bob Molle, Coach Mark Townsend and a host of others.
This camp is for players aged 9 to 13 years old (born in 2001 to 2005) and costs $100 per player (includes practice jersey, lunch and report card). Register before April 30 and

UBC Pre-Season Football Skills Camp
This skills camp takes place on Sunday, August 10 at UBC Thunderbird Stadium from 10 am to 4 pm.
This camp will focus on developing the fundamentals at each position. The camp is divided into two separate focus areas; a) Run (OL/DL/RB/LB) & b) Pass (WR/DB/QB). During the online registration process players will have the choice to be in the Run focused camp or the Pass focused camp.
The camp will consist of 3 practices (2 on-field & 1 classroom) over a 6 hour period. On field skills will be taught and full equipment is required for these practices. The classroom session will include a breakdown of the film that is taken in the morning sessions and will be highly personalized in terms of feedback.
Lunch and Camp Jerseys will be provided for each player.
The cost is $99 per player (team rate available for 10+ players). The camp is split into two age groups: Junior (ages 12
- 14) and Senior (15 - 17).

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is bringing the Russell Wilson Passing Academy to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver on
Saturday, July 5.
All positions and skills set are welcome, and no prior football experience is required. The camp is for ages 9 to 17 and runs from 9 am to 4 pm.
Camp activities include positional training, team-based drills, film room
study, and fundamental training from some of the biggest stars in the NFL.

Football BC elementary school skills program
Football BC's elementary school skills program is open to all school aged children and is conducted during regular school hours usually as part of P.E. class.
This program allows kids to learn basic football skills from Football BC coaches as well as volunteer players from local high schools.
