Football BC seeking interested coaches to be part of provincial identification/representation programs; Deadline to apply is December 31
Football BC would like to put out a call to coaches interested in being a part of our provincial identification programs as well as our provincial representation programs.
These programs include:
- Play Football BC
- Prep to be the Best
- Team BC
- Senior Bowl
Coaches will be utilized to help administer the identification camps through the province, have opportunities to coach at the Team BC mini-camp, coach at the Senior Bowl camp and coach Team BC in the Football Canada Cup. Please

Coaches will be selected based on their National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) qualifications, experience coaching related to the specific age groups, and past experiences with provincial and national programs. Every coach will have a proven track record working with fellow coaches and positively impacting the players they have coached.
The deadline to apply is Saturday, December 31.

Mark it down: 2012 Football BC Provincial Identification Camps
In early 2012, Football BC will once again be travelling throughout British Columbia with our Provincial ID program. We will be holding evaluation camps in Victoria, Prince George, Kelowna, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley.
Each location will be hosting a Prep to be the Best camp, a Team BC tryout and a Senior Bowl tryout.

Date and location set for 2012 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner
Football BC and the BC Lions have confirmed the date and location for the 2012 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner. The dinner, which will honour the 2011 provincial champions in amateur football, will be held on March 30, 2012 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.
Details on ticket pricing and speaker information will be announced shortly.

2012 Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) Convention
- March 24-25, 2012
Football Canada, in partnership with CanadaFootballChat.com and the Ontario Football Alliance, will be hosting the 2012 Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) Convention on Saturday, March 24 through Sunday, March 25 at Corpus Christi Secondary School in Burlington Ontario.
The FCCA Convention is a coaching development opportunity which features presentations from minor, junior, Canadian and American university, as well as CFL and NFL coaches. NCCP workshops will also be conducted as part of the event.

Aspiring players aged 14 to 17 who want to receive high level football training are encouraged to take part in The Football Academy. Registration is on-going.
Football BC is supporting this program to enhance each players' skill set and performance on the field through proven techniques designed to improve each
participants' 40-yard dash, pro agility, vertical, speed, acceleration, injury prevention as well as overall strength and fitness.
