Football BC has announced the dates for the Provincial ID Camps taking place in early 2012. The schedule, along with information for all interested participants, can be
All locations will be holding a Team BC tryout (for players born in 1995 and 1996) and a Senior Bowl tryout (for players currently in Grade 12 and graduating in June) as well as a Prep to be the Best session (for players currently in Grade 8 or 9).
The camps dates are as follows:
- Vancouver Island (Nanaimo) - Sunday, January 29
- Northern BC (Prince George) - Saturday, February 4
- Lower Mainland (Richmond) - Saturday, February 4
& Saturday, February 11
- Okanagan (Kelowna) - Sunday, February 12
- Vancouver Island (Victoria) - Sunday, February 19
- Fraser Valley (Abbotsford) - Monday, February 20 & Tuesday, February 21

Date and location set for 2012 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner
Football BC and the BC Lions have confirmed the date and location for the 2012 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner. The dinner, which will honour the 2011 provincial champions in amateur football, will be held on March 30, 2012 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.
Details on ticket pricing and speaker information will be announced shortly.

Chin, Chungh added to World Team for 2012 International Bowl
The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) announced last Friday that an additional 24 players have been named to the World Team roster that will compete against Team USA at the 2012 International Bowl on February 1, 2012 in Austin, Texas. The 24 players include 15 Canadians, two of whom are from British Columbia.
Joining the World Team roster are linebacker Casey Chin (Port Moody) and offensive lineman Sukh Chungh (Port Coquitlam).
Chin recently completed his sophomore season with the SFU Clan where he was one of four linebackers named to the GNAC All-Conference second team. Prior to joining the Clan, Chin played High School Football with the New Westminster Hyacks.
Chungh is coming off his first season with the Hardy Cup winning Calgary Dinos and will be making his second appearance in the International Bowl after suiting up for the IFAF Team World in 2010 in Fort Lauderdale.
Chin and Chungh will be joining offensive lineman Matthias Goossen (Richmond) on the World Team. Goossen, who is coming off his sophomore campaign with the Clan that saw him named a GNAC First-Team All-Star, had previously been named to the World Team roster.

2012 Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) Convention
- March 24-25, 2012
Football Canada, in partnership with CanadaFootballChat.com and the Ontario Football Alliance, will be hosting the 2012 Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) Convention on Saturday, March 24 through Sunday, March 25 at Corpus Christi Secondary School in Burlington Ontario.
The FCCA Convention is a coaching development opportunity which features presentations from minor, junior, Canadian and American university, as well as CFL and NFL coaches. NCCP workshops will also be conducted as part of the event.

Football BC is supporting this program to enhance each players' skill set and performance on the field through proven techniques designed to improve each
participants' 40-yard dash, pro agility, vertical, speed, acceleration, injury prevention as well as overall strength and fitness.
