Team BC U16 final rosters
The final rosters for the two provincial under-16 teams set to compete at the 2014 Red River Cup are now set.
Orange, led by Coach Roden, features 39 players on its final roster.
Blue, led by Coach Kawaza, boasts 38 players on its final roster.
The players on both teams will depart for Winnipeg on July 5.
Game dates are set for July 6 (Sunday), July 9 (Wednesday) and July12 (Saturday). A specific game schedule will be listed as soon as it becomes available. For more information, visit
Players on both teams are asked to assemble at the domestic terminal at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at 7 am on July 5 near the WestJet check-in counters.

Seahawks 12 North Flag Football Invitational
The Seattle Seahawks are returning to West Vancouver for their 12 Tour and this year adults and youths have a chance to showcase their flag football skills in front of the Seahawks in an invitational tournament.
Date: July 5, 2014
Time: 8:30 am to 4 pm (registration at 8 am)
Location: Ambleside Park, West Vancouver
Format: 6-on-6; Maximum of 10 players per team
Divisions: Adult (16+), U16 & U14
Cost: $200 per team (Includes: Reversible Seahawks Flag Football Jersey for each player, lunch, plus the chance to win prizes)

BC Lions Play with the Pros

The BC Lions will be hosting a Play with the Pros session for kids ages 6 to 13 on Sunday, July 6 at their training facility in Surrey.
The Play with the Pros is a FREE initiative that involves Lions players teaching boys and girls the basics of football by having them participate in a non-contact skills clinic.

The Seattle Seahawks 12 North Tour returns July 4-5 to Vancouver. The tour kicks off on Friday, July 4 at the Jack Poole Plaza at 6 pm with the Celebrity Flag Football Draft where fans will have the opportunity to meet the Sea Gals, Blitz and players.
On Saturday, July 5, Ambleside Park in West Vancouver will host the Play60 Family Fest featuring activities including the Jr. Sea Gals Clinic, Combine Stations, Play60 Zone, Inflatables, Fan Forum, Lombardi Trophy viewing and more!

2014 Victoria All-Star Football Camp
The 2014 Victoria All-Star Camp will take place June 28-29 at Mt. Douglas Secondary School.
This Full Contact Football Camp will focus on Skill Development, Positional Play, Character and Team Building and is for all Positions.
The Staff will feature High Quality Coaching including former Professional and University

UBC Pre-Season Football Skills Camp
This skills camp takes place on Sunday, August 10 at UBC Thunderbird Stadium from 10 am to 4 pm.
This camp will focus on developing the fundamentals at each position. The camp is divided into two separate focus areas; a) Run (OL/DL/RB/LB) & b) Pass (WR/DB/QB). During the online registration process players will have the choice to be in the Run focused camp or the Pass focused camp.
The camp will consist of 3 practices (2 on-field & 1 classroom) over a 6 hour period. On field skills will be taught and full equipment is required for these practices. The classroom session will include a breakdown of the film that is taken in the morning sessions and will be highly personalized in terms of feedback.
Lunch and Camp Jerseys will be provided for each player.
The cost is $99 per player (team rate available for 10+ players). The camp is split into two age groups: Junior (ages 12
- 14) and Senior (15 - 17).

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is bringing the Russell Wilson Passing Academy to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver on
Saturday, July 5.
All positions and skills set are welcome, and no prior football experience is required. The camp is for ages 9 to 17 and runs from 9 am to 4 pm.
Camp activities include positional training, team-based drills, film room

Football BC's elementary school skills program is open to all school aged children and is conducted during regular school hours usually as part of P.E. class.
This program allows kids to learn basic football skills from Football BC coaches as well as volunteer players from local high schools.
