Deadline for invited Team BC players to register for SFU camp is May 11; Schedule for the camp now available
All players (see the invite list
here) who have been invited to participate in the upcoming Team BC mini-camp at Simon Fraser University over May long weekend (May 19-21) are reminded to register by Friday, May 11 to confirm your spot at the camp. You can register online at
www.playfootball.bc.ca/contacts. If you do not register by the deadline, you may lose your spot and opportunity to play for Team BC.
The camp will open on the afternoon of Saturday, May 19 and run through until Monday, May 21. The cost to attend the camp is $100 (without accommodation) or $225 (with two-day accommodation at SFU). All players will have lunch provided for two days (Sunday and Monday).
Players who choose the accommodation option will also be provided with Saturday night dinner, Sunday morning breakfast, Sunday night dinner and Monday morning breakfast.
Players are reminded to bring their full football gear, including helmet.

As part of Football BC's partnership with Football University, we will also be awarding four players with complimentary registration to the 2012 FBU Top Gun
- High School Camp which runs from July 19 to 21 at Warhill High School and Sports Complex in Williamsburg, Virginia. More information on the

Team BC will be competing this year in early January 2013 in San Antonio, Texas facing fellow under-18 All-Star teams from the U.S. and internationally as part of the All-American Bowl Week.

Registration is now open for the 2012 Football BC Provincial Conference slated to be held on May 25-26, 2012 at Notre Dame Regional Secondary in Vancouver.

The cost to attend this year's Conference is $85 for an individual coach or $340 for a team (up to five coaches). As a reminder, all coaches who sign up for the conference will be able to complete their NCCP Community Initiation at no extra charge. To upgrade to complete NCCP Introduction to Competition there is an additional $75 charge per coach. Please make sure you select the option for Introduction to Competition if you wish to upgrade.

Junior Varsity Program ($99 + tax per month) - for ages 10-14
This is an introductory level to fitness and explosive athletic movement. Program is geared to build speed, conditioning, muscle endurance, strength and to help develop position skills. Total of 2 hours per week.
Varsity Program ($249 + tax per month) - for ages 15 and up
This is an advanced level of explosive movement, strength and power. The program is geared to make our athletes pound-for-pound the strongest, most explosive and fastest possible. The training program also includes one day of plyometrics. Starting in March, the training program will include speed training on field: conditioning, agility, footwork, position work, 1 on
1's, and skelly. Total of 6 hours per week.

The 28th annual Western Canadian All Star CLAN Football Camp -
the longest running full contact camp in Canada - gets underway on Friday, June 29 and runs through to Monday, July 2. The camp features:
- Over 3 hours of on-field instruction, including position-focused drills and group instruction
- Live scrimmage on the last day of camp
- Complete the experience by choosing the Live In option -
