Argyle Pipers enjoy experience of a lifetime at Seahawks game

Argyle Pipers head coach Milan Boljuncic told his team before they stepped onto the turf at CenturyLink Field that their experience would be a bucket list item that they would remember 20 years from now.

He certainly was not wrong.

Members of the Pipers - winners of the Marketplace IGA Seahawks contest - got the thrill of a lifetime this past Sunday as they won the opportunity to not only attend the Seahawks game versus Jacksonville but to scrimmage on the field as well as take part in the pre-game festivities prior to the start of the game.

BCFC Week 9 schedule

Kamloops Broncos at Westshore Rebels - 4 pm at Westhills Stadium (Saturday, September 28)

It's this Saturday for the Westshore Rebels as they face a must-win situation against the Kamloops Broncos in hopes of keeping their slim playoff hopes alive. For the Broncos, they can go a long way towards securing their post-season spot with a victory. Both teams are coming off losses last weekend. Kamloops had their two-game win streak snapped by a 30-0 loss to the Sun while the Rebels suffered their third straight loss dropping a 54-14 decision to the Raiders.

VI Raiders vs Langley Rams - 4 pm at McLeod Athletic Park (Saturday, September 28)

A potential playoff preview - or dare we suggest a championship preview - is on tap when the Raiders visit the Rams. This game could decide the host of this year's Cullen Cup with both the squads vying for top spot in the standings. The Raiders, winners of five in a row, scored a 41-27 win over the Rams the last time the teams met just a couple of weeks ago.

Valley Huskers vs Okanagan Sun - 2 pm at Apple Bowl (Sunday, September 29)

The Huskers need a win this week to try and stay in the hunt for a playoff berth but they'll have a tall task trying to get past the Okanagan Sun. The Sun have won two straight games and are looking to stay in the mix for top spot in the league and, at the very least, getting home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Free admission for Community football players and cheerleaders who wear their uniform tops to the game between the Rams and Raiders at McLeod Athletic Park!

The T-Birds are coming off a 37-27 win over the Regina Rams - a victory that improved their record away from home to a perfect 2-0. The Huskies are coming off a 39-17 win over the Alberta Golden Bears.
